Mitchell Report Enhances Baseball
The recently released Mitchell Report from U.S. Senator George Mitchell on who is currently using and who has previously used performance and body enhancing drugs has caused a buzz around the world of sports.
Here we go again. We think this is much ado about absolutely nothing!
American sports fans want the players of all sports to be physically dominant. They want them to play harder and longer. Endurance and stamina is what the spectators want. The way to give them what they want is to bulk up using whatever methods, drugs or exercise or both, are available to the professional athlete.
So we say “Grow up, America! Get over yourselves.” How else are the players to remain competitive? What else can they do?
