India is known for becoming one of the oldest movie industries in the world. In the early 1913 an Indian film has got a worldwide showing. These beginning movie stars significantly changed the concept of Indian movie industry, improving it with glamour and sensual features. The large budgeted films were shot at international places to drive attention of the viewers and took the best-seller positions.
In the first years of the millennium, Indian movies came into the markets and the expectations of ìBollywoodî fans altered significantly. Films dealing with the present affairs and those that were endowed with revolutionary ideas have broken the common love story or story of love triangle that has been a popular story base. With media going to a new conceptual grade, advanced technology and expanding the scope, ìBollywoodî made bigger number of movies with various plots, and became international greatest movie producing industry. Future success of Indian film industry depends on whether it can meet all the demands and requirements of a new market without losing its authenticity.
