Daniela Cicarelli Brazilian Celebrity Wins Law Suit Against YouTube

We can not believe what the world has come to. First George Walker Bush wins the presidency and now this! DISCLAIMER: If you're reading this while at work on the company PC you should know this video is inappropriate for the workplace.

Daniela Cicarelli,
Brazilian model and MTV VJ/host in September 2006 was unbeknownst to her and her companion, the star of a steamy sex video shot by paparazzo Miguel Temprano. Cicarelli's scandalous behavior while on a public beach in Spain with her boyfriend Merrill Lynch employee Renato "Tato" Malzoni, was videotaped and broadcast on Spanish television. The short version is simply this the video ended up on YouTube in Brazil and several other places on the Internet.

Cicarelli and her boyfriend Malzoni both sued to have the video removed from YouTube, but the loyal viewers would re-post it everytime the site owners, GOOGLE, would remove it. In fact it's the number one download in Brazil.

In 2005 Ms Cicarelli's stock went up when she married Brazilian football(soccer) star Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima.(Cicarelli acted up at her own February 14, 2005 nuptuals when she demanded a former lover of Ronaldo's, Caroline Bittencourt, another Brazilian model, be expelled from the ceremony. Cicarelli later had a miscarriage. She and Ronaldo divorced after being wed only 84 days.)

He is known as simply Ronaldo and is considered to be one of the greatest players in the game. He's been nick named "The Phenomenon" (Portuguese: O Fenômeno, Spanish: El Fenómeno). According to Wikipedia,
"He was named by Pelé as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004. Ronaldo and former Real Madrid teammate Zinedine Zidane are the only two men to have won the World Cup three times.

And now this international sex scandal has caused her stock to skyrocket. She's been a model since the age of 14 and she is considered tobe one of the most popular models in the world, as in "super model". That's why we are outraged. We have a few words for Daniela.

  • Firstly, Hon, this is 'ho'ish behavior that one saves for the privacy of one's home. You and your man make enough to spring for a lavish hotel room, exclusive private villa or whatever.
  • Secondly, when you're as popular a public figure as you are with an adoring public that includes avaricious paparazzi you must be more circumspect in your behavior.
  • The truly grown and sexy, real adults, don't conduct themselves this way and then go running off to court to have the material removed; especially when it's boosting their career. The judge ruled in her favor. Are we surprised? He had to watch the evidence in order to render a decision.
  • We would say some other things like: Take a page from, Paris Hilton's book. At least her sex video was made in private. Paris Hilton is not just known for being famous; she's a recording star now as well as a model, actress and television personality.

Or we could make some Michael "Kramer" Richards' jokes, saying Cicarelli and Richards have simliar responses. "I'm not really like that. That wasn't the real me", said __________________Richards or Cicarelli. Fill in the blank! Take your pick. Perhaps they'll go on tour together making apologies to prudes and offended Negroes or black people.

We could even say how the poeple of Brazil do not even care if the sex you have on the beach is the real thing and not a cocktail served in a club by the ocean. They do not even care that you've won the case against GOOGLE, the company that owns YouTube because they know the ruling will likely never be enforced.

One piece of advice comes from the very wise man who is the administer of this site:

"If you're gonna do something like that in public; if it is impossible to control your sexual desire and your love comes down in a not so private place, make sure it's dark outside. It's not very likely the paparazzi are following you with night-vision on their cameras." Henry Gandolph

Don't be too sure of that Henry.
