Every time we hear of a terror attack, successful or not, we take the facts provided with a grain of salt. Call us cynical. We just do not believe the terrorists are so dumb. To us the “current terrorists” are like characters from some 1960s era Buck Henry teevee spy spoof comedy. We’re thinking Don Adams in “Get Smart”. Why are the terrorists we hear about most often so god-awful incompetent? Not that we’re hoping for competence in terrorism but we’re just saying…. (more…)

When United States President Barack Obama presented his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech entitled, “A Just And Lasting Peace” the world was in awe.
Many were proud and pleased to see him receive the honor; others were perplexed by the irony that the man who recently determined to escalate the war in Afghanistan is the most recent recipient of a prize that pays tribute to peace. (more…)
