Norm Coleman: Concede The Election. It’s Over Dude!
For many months Norm Coleman’s battle in the courts to win the senate seat in Minnesota is giving new meaning to the word tenacity. We are wondering when being tenacious, an often admirable quality, becomes a liability.
Could it be this quality is a distinct disadvantage when people so frustrated by the candidate’s efforts begin to throw eggs at him?
Good people who deserve proper representation are being denied their rights. This is no longer about you, Norm. Give it up, will ya?
Al Franken is the new senator from Minnesota. Accept it. The voters are just not that into you, Norm.
We advise Mr. Coleman to choose one of several suggested options:
Lay it down! Give up the ghost. Fagedd-aboud-it! Move on.
We encourage the last option…moving on. You can write a book about your many legal and procedural defeats. Many people love war stories, especially political war stories. Your book could become a movie of the week; maybe even a right-wing political documentary.
If you agree with us that Norm should stop campaigning for a seat he’s lost repeatedly in the courts, sign the petition to tell Norm Coleman it’s over and that he must concede for the sake of being a great patriot and to save what’s left of his face.
Wave your little hand and whisper, “So long,” Norman. Norman should have said so long so long ago!
