In Washington, D.C. 18 patients a day lose their lives while waiting for transplants.<\/p>\n<p>According to medical experts there are more people living with kidney disease because dialysis treatment sustains a greater number of lives than ever before.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nRon Minor, founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.finelineproductionseast.com\/whoweare.html\" target=\"_blank\">Fine Line Productions East<\/a>, a metropolitan Washington, D.C. production house, has made it his life goal to inform the public about chronic kidney disease through the creation of a fact filled documentary on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>Ron&#8217;s interest in the subject is born of the fact a few years ago he, himself, was diagnosed with the condition;\u00a0 fortunately, Ron found the perfect donor in his wife, Kathy Minor.
