President-elect Barack Obama Weekly Address
The video you see displayed here is President-elect Barack Obama’s first weekly address. The new administration is planning to primarily use the Internet as well as radio to provide updates to the nation on the progress of its agenda for change. We think this first address is a reminder to all citizens Obama’s administration will begin January 20, 2009. George W. Bush is still in charge.
It is a reminder to all of us we’ve had to contend with a failing economy for nearly the last eight years…that would be almost the whole of the Bush administration if you count the time of the budget surplus when BushCo came into office January 2000. The budget surplus lasted as long as spit on a griddle. To use accounting terms, the policies of the Bush administration took us from the black instantly to where we now stand — in the red.
We think President-elect Obama’s plan is an excellent way. It’s a 21st Century innovation with its basis in the 20th Century creativity of the 32nd POTUS Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Barack Obama and his advisors and staff have made groundbreaking strides in using Internet technology to run a successful political campaign in modern times.
We believe President-elect Obama can lead a team of enthusiastic competent leaders building on the foundation of traditional American governance to be the innovators of a fresh new government providing the economic relief many of us are hopeful of receiving.
