Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab Alleged Christmas Day Terrorist Charged In Failed U.S. Aircraft Bombing
Every time we hear of a terror attack, successful or not, we take the facts provided with a grain of salt. Call us cynical. We just do not believe the terrorists are so dumb. To us the “current terrorists” are like characters from some 1960s era Buck Henry teevee spy spoof comedy. We’re thinking Don Adams in “Get Smart”. Why are the terrorists we hear about most often so god-awful incompetent? Not that we’re hoping for competence in terrorism but we’re just saying….
We have been asked to believe the young Nigerian man, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, who comes from a wealthy family, is a bumbling idiot near do well, whose father reported him to the U.S. security authorities. (Think Brad Pitt’s character in “Twelve Monkeys”.) We are asked to accept the fact Mutallab was in the terror data base with out restriction placed to keep an eye on him
We think our country is like the spouse whose life partner has chosen to be unfaithful and no one, no friends, family or acquaintances will tell the naive spouse they gettin’ played.
We propose this scenario which may be better received from a public growing more cynical every day.
Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was in the data base and selected by the CIA or some other nefarious U.S. security agency to fake attempting to blow up a transcontinental flight on Christmas Day. We’ll call it the fake Al-Qaeda…Al See-aye-A-did. In the Obama Era, as proven during the BushCo years, even a failed attempted act of terror can keep the public in awe and completely shock the sheeple.
Let’s even say Mutallab didn’t even know he was gettin’ punked to be a part of the scheme to keep Americans frightened of the big bad Al Qaeda boogie man. Let’s say Mutallab thought he was taking a stand against the great Satan on behalf of dissident insurgents throughout the world. Let’s say he was given a tranquillizer to dull his senses, and faulty equipment like charcoal lighter fluid, silly putty and some bogus powdery substance to simulate the explosive.
What we present is just as plausible as the story presented by law enforcement authorities.
UPDATE: The fake Al-Qaeda…Al See-aye-A-did has taken responsibility for the failed attempt to blow up the flight 253 on Christmas Day just moments before it landed in Detroit.
