Atlanta Man With TB Alludes U.S. Government Security

No doubt everyone has heard the story in recent weeks of the Atlanta attorney who was diagnosed with TB. It was not until after he was outside of the country traveling in Europe that he received word his ciondition was dangerous to the public.
There have been several versions of what took place during his doctor visit before he left the country. There are sevral versions of what communications between he, the medical professionals and the government agencies responsible for "bringing him back" after he was located overseas.

One thing is very clear all of the security could not keep him from re-entering the country. This story has us podering the following questions:

If the government can not stop one individual with a highly communicable infectious disease from leaving the country or entering without note, how is it possible to keep thousands of illegal immigrants, drug smugglers and terror suspects out of the country?How is it possible to control all these alleged threats to our society if one, solitary individual can not be limited in his travels around the world...acorss the country??
We also question all those times the government was susccessful (?) in halting the movement of simliar threats to the well being of our country? Was it just luck? Stellar police work? Thorough investigation by the CIA, FBI and the NSA or Homeland Security? Was it solid, valid information from reliable intelligence sources? Just another among many things to make you say "Hmmmmmm."
