At the next meeting of the Volusia County Council on Thursday, August 7, 2008 in Deland, The Volusia County/ Flagler County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, along with mental health professionals and concerned citizens, will call on the council to take appropriate strong action toward more humane treatment of mentally ill persons who are detained in the county facility. He is an educated man who holds a doctorate in engineering. Some media reports describe him as a “firebrand, soccer fan and true believer in Khomeini’s Islamic Revolution.”

To us he seems more intelligent and educated than our leader. Ahmadinejad is considered to be a very savvy politician. In that respect, in our opinion, he is equal to our leader.

American Airlines, known as the largest airline company in the world, serving 250 cities in over 40 countries with more than 4,000 daily flights, says it has a combined network fleet of more than 1,000 aircraft.

We’ve kidded and made jokes about airline companies in the U.S., but, as far as we know this extended special offer for military personnel is genuine. (more…)
