Governor Deval Patrick and Senator Barack Obama One Brotha Helping Another

Feb 28, 2008 in You think so

Our favorite commentator on every subject Blanche Africa Reilly-Dark, Clark’s momma, has her say on another political controversy.

First of all I did not know there was a controversy when two people agree on a statement and one reiterates the sentiments of another.

Governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick dared his opponent during his campaign last fall, to deny the powerful inspiration the words of Patrick Henry, or Abraham Lincoln or John F. Kennedy or Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. have provided a nation.

This year Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama has extended the same challenge to his opponent, Senator Clinton, Bill’s wife, aka the bitch that can “get ‘er done”. (more…)

William F. Buckley, Jr. Conservative Poster Boy Dead

Feb 27, 2008 in You think so

“Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could. ” the late William F. Buckley, Jr. 1925-2008

    bill-buckley.jpg

The cheerleader for the conservatives since the end of World War II, the man who once described himself as being “so right for so much of the time” is dead.

William F. Buckley, Jr. is the founder of the magazine National Review. He was a popular talk show guest during the 1960s and 1970s. He developed an imposing vocabulary to intimidate and skewer his opponents in political debates.

    Buckley was 82 .

Hillary Clinton: Why I Do Not Like You

Feb 26, 2008 in You think so

Here’s commentary from Clark Dark’s momma…Blanche Africa Reilly Dark. Tell us how you really feel about another Clinton candidacy, Blanche.

Thanks. Firstly I want everyone to know I did not wholeheartedly support  Bill Clinton, Hillary’s husband, for president. I do not see him as being anything but a new style Dixie-crat. I definitely do not see him as being, nor would I ever describe him as “America’s first black president”.  I find that description insulting on many levels. Most importantly I find it offensive because he is not a black man.

Hillary Clinton I do not like you. From the looks of the surveys taken in recent months I am not alone in my opinion. There are many Americans who do not like you. (more…)

    BUSH Adamant About Protecting Telecoms

Feb 23, 2008 in You think so

    bush-listens.jpg

On Thursday and Saturday President George W. Bush indicated he is not giving up on House approved legislation providing immunity to those telecommmunications companies who assisted in spying on American citizens in the name of security.

The U.S. House has opposed legislation giving immunity to the corporations that participated in domestic surveillance of Americans. The U.S. Senate has approved a measure granting retroactive immunity to the telephone companies for their part in spying on American telephone calls. (more…)

    dawn-primarolo.jpg
