Hillary Clinton: Why I Do Not Like You
Here’s commentary from Clark Dark’s momma…Blanche Africa Reilly Dark. Tell us how you really feel about another Clinton candidacy, Blanche.
Thanks. Firstly I want everyone to know I did not wholeheartedly support Bill Clinton, Hillary’s husband, for president. I do not see him as being anything but a new style Dixie-crat. I definitely do not see him as being, nor would I ever describe him as “America’s first black president”. I find that description insulting on many levels. Most importantly I find it offensive because he is not a black man.
Hillary Clinton I do not like you. From the looks of the surveys taken in recent months I am not alone in my opinion. There are many Americans who do not like you.
Among all registered voters surveyed, you have by far the highest “unfavorable†rating. Forty three percent said their opinion of Clinton is unfavorable, compared to 35 percent who viewed her favorably. Clinton fared better among likely Democratic primary voters – 61 percent of that group said they had a favorable opinion of the New York senator. But 27 percent of Democrats had an unfavorable opinion.
Obama was viewed favorably by 45 percent of all voters while just 23 percent had an unfavorable opinion of him. And among those Democrats, his favorability was 69 percent while just eight percent had an unfavorable view.
Thirty two percent of all voters said they were undecided or have not heard enough to form an opinion of Obama, indicating room for himself – or his political opponents to shape those opinions.
Of course as we all know people do lie when surveyed. They often do not answer truthfully. Even taking that fact into consideration there still a goodly number of vopters who do not like you, Hillary Clinton. I hope there are so many who do not like that you will not win the election.
I do not like you because you behave the same as the presisdent. You do not tell the truth. You tell lies. You avoid answering questions. You wrongly accuse other candidates, such as Senator Obama, for calling attention to the fact you and your spouse supported the North American Free Trade Agreement This is an economic agreement that only serves to benefit the rich and the powerful. You also sit on the board of Wal-Mart. Those two facts alone, NAFTA and your influence with Wal-Mart make it obvious why everyone who has a vote should cast if for someone other than you.
Mostly I do not like the way you addressed the senator from Illinois. Telling him,”Shame on you” or words to that effect. He is not your servant nor is he your child. As I understand it Senator Barack Obama is a United States senator. He is duly elected by the people of Illinois. He is to be given the same respect you wish to receive. I have never heard him address his remarks to you in such a condescending manner. Â
This latest camflamma over pictures of Obama in traditional dress while visiting his father’s homeland of Kenya is the lowest you have ever stooped. You take advantage of the American public’s ignorance of geography and culture. You mix that ignorance with confusion over the senator from Illinois’ name, you realize it is similar to the name of the boogeyman from the Middle East and you use that for all you can. In terms of spreading fear you are no better than the president. Shame on you Hillary Clinton.
Oh and before I go Tina Fey is wrong. Being a bitch is not the new black in America. Besides how would she know?
