Senator Barack Obama’s Record of Experience Versus The Bitch That Some Say Gets It Done
Everywhere we go we hear people talking of how inexperienced Senator Obama is. We hear people speaking on how much more experience than he Hillary Clinton has.
As a public service YouThinkWhat presents the facts to show which senator is more experienced. We also include facts indicating which senator gets more things done.
Hillary Clinton has served one term in the U.S. Senate, that is six years; plus one year campaigning for the nomination for presidential candidate for her party. During her brief time in office she has been the author of and has successfully passed into law 20 pieces of legislation.
Barack Obama, on the other hand has been the author of 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096 during his eight years in the senate.
During his first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included the following legislative items which became law:
**The Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill
The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, is currently in committee and The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act has passed the Senate.
The record shows the chick the Clinton campaign promotes as the candidate who does “get ‘er done” may have been asleep at the wheel. Looks like the black guy may be the one who gets things done. Hmmm something to think about.
