Despite the fact some have said it’s over for Texas Republican Ron Paul, Ron Paul is still campaigning for the Republican National Convention nomination to become their candidate for President of the United States.
We’ve been remiss in our coverage of Paul. We’ve mimicked the media conglomerates by focusing, albeit sporadically, on the front runners on both sides. If you do not know him we offer this video as an opportunity to hear what he says on the issues that should mean the most to American voters.

This is a video of The Leningrad Cowboys, a rock and roll band, famous in Finland, for its humorous songs and concerts. Performing along with the Cowboys is the Soviet Red Army Choir.
The Cowboys, a group of eleven men with two Leningrad Ladies present songs, described as “somewhat influenced by polka and progressive rock, and performed in English, with themes such as ‘vodka’, ‘tractors’, ‘rockets’, and ‘Genghis Khan’, as well as folkloric Russian songs, rock and roll ballads and covers from bands as diverse as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, all with lots of humour.”
The Red Army Choir (Choir Aleksandrov) is an ensemble that served as the official musical performing army choir of the former Soviet Union’s Red Army. The choir is made up of a male choir, an orchestra, and a dance ensemble. They perform songs ranging from Russian folk tunes to Russian Church hymns, operatic arias and popular music.
The Red Army Choir is known for its participation in Roger Waters’ The Wall concert which celebrated the fall of the Berlin Wall. During the concert the choir performed the anti-war song “Bring the Boys Back Home”.
Despite the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Red Army Choir continues performing, and entertaining audiences both inside and outside Russia. (more…)
