Memo to D.A. J. Reed Walters of Jena, LaSalle Parish Louisiana

Sep 20, 2007 in Civil Rights, Democrats, Education, Justice, Media, Republicans, US Politics, We Think, You think so

TO: J. Reed Walters, District Attorney, Jena LaSalle Parish Louisiana
    FROM: Africa Blanche Reilly Dark

I wonder. Where do you live? Apparently you do not live in Jena Louisiana. You say the case of the so-called Jena Six ” is not, nor has it ever been about race.”

Seems to me it’s about race. Jena Louisiana small town of nearly 3000 people most of whom are white and real bigoted including you. The rest of the town’s population is black people who’ve always known and lived with the oppressive conditions the world has now come to know exist in your jurisdiction. (more…)

Racine Wisconsin Love and Charity Mission

Sep 20, 2007 in Business, Civil Rights, Communications, Democrats, Education, Justice, Media, Republicans, Technology, US Politics, We Think, You think so

The new school year is in full swing in many areas of the nation. Racine Wisconsin is no exception.

The Love and Charity Mission located in Racine Wisconsin under the leadership of Mrs Louise Hunter, affectionately known as “Mother Hunter”, needs your donations.

Computers, office supplies, food, clothing, your time or your money will provide needed assistance to the less fortunate families who rely upon the Love and Charity Mission. The good servants who work to assure an adequate education, healthcare, shelter and nutrition for the people, especially the children who are homeless and benefit from the services offered by the mission need you to give your support however you can.

Right now they are in crisis with a utility bill from Wisconsin Energies of more than $35,000. Won’t you help them continue the worthwhile work they perform?

If you’re in the Racine area stop by the mission. Help serve dinner. Give a hand with homework assignments. Read a story to the children. If you can not give of your time send some money.

    Send donations to:

    Love and Charity Homeless Mission
    1031 Douglas Avenue
    Racine Wisconsin 53403
Or telephone: 262-634-7059 to offer your assistance to the helpers and those who benefit from the help given.

Just because the president says the economy is in good shape does not make it true. The trickle-down theory of modern economics is not working effectively. There’s a kink in the pipeline.

George Bush will never go down in history remembered as a great president who enhanced the American economy.

Louise Hunter and her staff will always be known for helping others.

Jena Louisiana: A New Chapter In the Civil Rights Movement

Sep 20, 2007 in Civil Rights, Communications, Democrats, Education, Justice, Media, Republicans, US Politics, We Think, You think so

We have a theory at YTW . “If it happened before I was born it has no significance in my life.” This statement is in reference to historic events and how each new generation relates to those events.

Many young people today have previously expressed this opinion when it comes to matters of civil rights for all people. (more…)

Comic Eddie Griffin Censored in Florida for Use of the “N” Bomb

Sep 20, 2007 in Business, Civil Rights, Communications, Democrats, Education, Entertainment, Justice, Media, Republicans, Technology, US Politics, We Think, You think so

When those high powered executives from Aetna, Pepsi and FedEx gathered for Earl Graves’, the renowned publisher of Black Enterprise Magazine and sponsor of the 14th annual golf and tennis event in Miami, Florida earlier this month they had no idea that while attending the sold out event they would witness Graves taking a stand to end cultural disrespect and regression. In the U. S. You Can Be An Honorary White Person

Sep 19, 2007 in Civil Rights, Democrats, Education, Media, Republicans, US Politics, We Think, You think so

With all this talk about racial in justice we’ve noticed the injustice isn’t just for us anymore. As that famous comedian, the late “Ach-cha-cha chaa” man with the large proboscis, Jimmy Durante would say, “Everybody wants to get into the act!”

Fact is law enforcement and governments all over this nation have begun to go after John and Jane Citizens in the same way they would unjustly treat blacks, and other minoritiy persons. (more…)

Be There September 20th 2007 Jena Louisiana Support Jena Six

Sep 17, 2007 in Civil Rights, Democrats, Justice, Media, Republicans, US Politics, We Think, You think so

It began with syndicated radio host Michael Baisden, known as “the Badboy of Radio” who simply said he was going to be in Jena Louisiana for the sentencing of one Mychal Bell. Bell is one of six black male teens charged in the December 2006 assault of Justin Barker a white student. All are students at the Jena High School in the tiny country town.

Bell is the only one charged as an adult in the case. Last Friday, September 14, 2007 the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Lake Charles Louisiana ruled Bell’s June conviction as an adult be vacated, reversed and set aside. He was 16 at the time of the incident. Before the appeals court decision he faced more than 20 tyears in prison for what experts agree was tantamount to a school yard fight. (more…)

Jena, Louisiana Really in the Big Time Now!September 20th Rally

Sep 17, 2007 in Business, Civil Rights, Communications, Democrats, Justice, Media, Republicans, US Politics, We Think, You think so

We recently reported how city officials made some critical mistakes when the school board and the district attorney determined they should pull out all the stops to punish some tenn black males and their families for an incident that amounted to a school yard fight.

Well J. Reed Walters, Mr. District Attoryney for LaSalle Parish Louisiana, because you were overzealous in your desire to “with one stroke ” of your pen make their lives disappear, you thrust your little back water country town onto the world stage. You have proved that education in Louisiana is substandard. (more…)
