David Vincent: “Voting People Are Responsible”~Part 6
Part 6 the conclusion, “Voting People Are Responsible” by David Vincent.
True freedom from torture, wiretapping, invasion of privacy, bloated defense bureaucracies and bogus wars was available. True freedom from monetary appropriations and economic endangerment was around the corner. Strengthening our country and its future by bringing most of our troops home was on the horizon. True freedom from reckless assessments,
savings-depleting taxes, over-reaching government action, domestically and internationally, was in our grasp.
But, alas, the media (owned by Rupert Murdoch, GE and other corporate titans not wanting off the government teat just yet) realized someone was out there being judged; and judging by data and the facts alone, his long and relatively unappreciated voting record pushing his agenda full-throttle. And without corporate media’s blessings, with the mounds of lies being exposed, they had to do something, fast. No hyperbole, no slick oratories, no platitudes. Action, speeches and votes rendered with impeccable clarity and consistency. Politics sans the smoke and mirrors.
But Murdoch and GE needed flashy gossip and story lines, dramatic plots and speeches, and a continuation of corporate governance to maintain mind-control over the sheeple. Ron Paul wasn’t going to cut it, with his fiscal propriety, cut-to-the-facts sincerity and governance not based on force or power or money, but on individual respect and common sense. So they simply refused to book him on any more shows, denied him interview access, cut off his mike and ignored him. But I’m absolutely positive they, the current promoted candidates, will steal most, if not all, of his ideas. In most cases, they are the only ultimate solutions available for the future viability of our country.
Is the beginning of the story of the modern 21st Century United States going to start with the collapse of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers and the so-called anti-terror policies in place as the reaction to the event? Or will we continue to strive toward building a country on the principles of freedom, justice and equality for everyone? Your vote is your choice. Vote for those who want to keep it that way.
Data, facts, decisions.
Lies, deceptions, confusions.
Which best describes the modern American political landscape? In the words of Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, in the film The Blues Brothers, “You better THINK!”
