Geraldine Ferraro and Some Old White Chicks Speak Against Obama
During the past weekend on the white chicks’ front there was a piece appearing in the Boston Globe on Friday, May 30, 2008 written by none other than Geraldine Ferraro. Gerri is a former Democrat vice presidential candidate, (mark that Loser) and real good friend of HRC. In her article Ferraro speaks of her requesting, in concert with other feministas, the Shorenstein Center at Harvard U, and others conduct a study to determine if her BGF was jerked by the media and the opposition during this primary season. She also writes about the concerns of the so-called Reagan Democrats. They are getting nervous because they’ve heard and read that black politicians when they get into office allegedly favor their own over whites. We all know how wrong it is to favor your own race over another in The U.S. of A.
We also know any terminology prefaced with “Reagan” is code language for bigot. “I’m a Reagan Republican” read that as “I don’t like blacks.” “I’m a Reagan Democrat” translates “I’m a Democrat who doesn’t like blacks.” It’s no big secret the 40th president and the 33rd governor of California did not like blacks.
Ferraro’s article only serves to confirm what we’ve known for sometime. There is serious racism at work here in these United States fueled by a tremendous amount of guilt for reaping the benefits of being white in America. Benefits received whether they are deserved or not. A few whites are resentful that their sense of entitlement, justified or not, is being shaken by the possibility of a president who does not look like them.
Along with Gerri there were other members of the Democrat Party necromancer wing who were compelled to speak. Several of these crones attended the meeting held by the Democrats to determine who’d get those disputed Florida and Michagan delegates. None was quite so vocal and unfocused as some old, loudmouth female from Manhattan who was ranting about the presumptive nominee on the Democrat ticket. Harriet Christian, a racist shrew from New York, received much face time on all media for her fab fifteen. She said, among other things, “This is not my America!”
We agree Harriet. Your America fifty years ago was steeped in racist, sexist attitudes and behaviors. The idea of a black or a woman running for president was an alien idea. We are happy to see those of your generation, with the antique outlook, die off to be replaced with, we hope, more reasonable people. She also said something about the party throwing away the election for an “inadequate black man”. We wonder if Harriet is an example of an adequate man.
Fortunately there are many more sensible, literate, hard working whites and blacks who understand the strategery of divide and conquor. For the last eight years all Americans have been divided and conquored through the use of fear and intimidation along with being bashed with the economic club that has many in dire financial situations.
It is difficult for Americans to believe the black guy could have the answer to many of the problems plaguing our nation. We say after the term of the current pResident in the
White House, we should “give the colored guy a chance. He couldn’t be any worse than the dude in office now.” Besides there’s at least one thing Senator Obama has going for himself that GWB can never get. A Harvard Law degree.
