United Nations Pressure Iran On Enrichment Program: Why Do The Nations Rage?
“Why do the nations so furiously rage together, and why do the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers take counsel together against … ” Psalms 2:1-2;
The writer of the passage from the Book Of Psalms is making reference to King David as he is about to come to power on the throne of ancient Israel.
We use the verses in regard to the United Nations Security Council–we know it is as the demonstrated IN-Security Council; especially with this latest plan to transport dangerous nuclear weaponry components across continents.
Any terror organization worth it’s salt is probably relishing the idea of the transfer of shipments of enriched uranium from Russia or France to Iran.
Can the nations of the world be more ridiculous? Sadly it is very possible. This debate and the accompanying sanctions have been ongoing for several years. They’re ganging up on Iran. Yeah, we said it at the risk of being roundly criticized by folks who don’t even know where Iran is much less how to spell the name of the country.
Someone said the Iranians want recognition in their part of the world as a world power. With nuclear arms they believe they will achieve this desired goal. What’s wrong with that? Everyone would like to be powerful. We believe it is time to level the playing field. Israel has nukes… officially they don’t–wink-wink; unofficially the whole entire world knows they do.
The world survived eight years of the loose cannon rogue nation Bush administration we’re confident the planet will survive another country joining the growing number of nations with nuclear defense capability.
In order to stop one tiny government in the Middle East from having modern weapons to defend itself against aggression the other nations have agreed that putting millions of citizens around the world at risk by transporting large amounts of toxic enriched uranium from one location to another is okay. We say that’s just plain stupid. And that’s what we think!
