Who Is Paying Reverend Wright?
In the continuing controversy of remarks made by Reverend Jeremiah Wright the question is : “Who is paying Reverend Wright to make these inflammatory comments in an attempt to deep six the Obama campaign?”
As in all mysterious mysteries the strategy to implement is the one that dictates investigators should follow the money.
It is possible to have funding from various sources, such as the McCain campaign, Karl Rove, the Repulbican National Committee, the Democratic National Committee, or the Clinton campaign, surreptitiously forwarded to groups offering Wright the opportunity to showcase, live and in person, his views about the American government’s domestic and foreign actions as well as what he believes to be true about the candidate Obama.
Follow the money. If you do,  we think you will find agents for the decimation of the mostly amazing Obama campaign for the Democrat nomination for president.
Maybe those who encourage Wright’s rants are not nefarious agents of the opposition, but misguided churchofficicals and private individuals who advise him. They may be people who agree with Wright, himself. People who clearly believe among other things Obama has betrayed him, by first distancing himself from Wright and now totally denouncing his former pastor on a national stage. It all amounts to the same outcome the devastation of a hopeful campaign for the first black man to be a the Democrats’ candidate for president.
One would think Wright would hold his thoughts and his tongue before lashing out in such a public manner. But then Wright is no politician. He’s an old man who has been offended by his star parishioner. Perhaps he is motivated by jealousy. That speech in Philadelphia given by Senator Obama in March was an affront to Wright. It is one he seeingly will not forgive nor forget.
It’s too bad Wright can not find it in himself extend some tough Christian love to the senator from Illinois. We think Obama’s campaign for the presidency is the one thing Wright would support. Â
It is also interesting to note how the faith based leaders, who are associates, friends and supporters of other candidates with opinions different from those held by the majority of the public are not melded or morphed into being the candidate himself. One example that comes to mind is the John McCain-John Hagee association. John Hagee is a well known anti-Semite, anti-Catholic clergyman. John Mc Cain seems to get a pass when he distances himself from Hagee who is also anit-gay. Is there anyone this man likes?
Even though no one wants to hear what Jeremiah Wright has to say about race relations in America, least of all the man who is trying to bring change while uniting the nation, the media is proving him correct on this one point. There is indeed a racial double standard for how issues are reported in order to manipulate and mange public opinion about blacks.
