Our favorite Florida cub reporter, Damon Weaver has had his reportorial dream fulfilled.

Eleven year-old Damon Weaver of Canal Point, Florida
is a student reporter at the Katherine E. Cunningham Elementary School in Canal Point, Palm Beach County, Florida. Damon Weaver has conducted an interview at the White House with President Barack Obama. Watch it here:

After interviewing Vice President Joe Biden when the then senator-candidate visited Palm Beach County last fall during the presidential election campaign, Damon Weaver began his quest to get the scoop of his lifetime by winning an exclusive interview with the man who would be America’s first black president.

We’ve always supported Damon’s desires to be the ace number one cub reporter. We championed Damon’s request for credentials to be at President Obama’s historical inauguration. We reported when Damon was successful and received those highly prized press credentials.

We are proud and pleased to announce he’s captured an interview with the President Of The United States. Congratulations to Damon Weaver. We wish you much success in the future.
