Michael Vick Returns To NFL In Philadelphia
Michael Vick, former quarter back for the Atlanta Falcons, has been re-instated conditionally in the NFL by Commissioner Roger Goodell.
When Vick suits up with the Philadelphia Eagles he’ll be wearing the number 7, as he did when he played for the Falcons in Atlanta before serving time in a federal prison for killing and abusing dogs.
Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid reports Vick is focused and eager to get his career on track.
Starting quarter back Donovan McNabb endorses Vick coming to the Eagles. “I pretty much lobbied to get him here, because everybody deserves a second chance.” What part Michael Vick will play on the team’s offense is not yet clear.
