For The Drunk-Driving Lush Who Has Everything
For the one person in your circle of friends who doesn’t believe driving drunk is dangerous a new accessory for the iPod or iPhone was designed to help that person make the decision whether or not to drive after downing a few cocktails or beers at the office holiday party, before climbing behind the wheel.

David Steele Enterprises’ calls it the iBreath ($79). This accessory lets iPod or iPhone users test their own blood alcohol content. This is not a joke.
It’s easy to use. Connect this accessory to the bottom of the iPod or iPhone (all current models supported except iPod Shuffle), fold out the “blow wand” and exhale for a minimum of five seconds. In as little as two seconds later, your blood alcohol level will be displayed on the LCD screen to advise you whether or not you’re okay to drive. There’s even a convenient built-in timer that can be set (from 1 minute to 8 hours) to remind users to take the test again.
David Steele Enterprises has designated the accessory as a safety device. The iBreath measures your Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) range within 0.000 – 0.100 percent. Some report the group Mothers Against Drunk Driving worries that kids might use it to play drinking games.
Batteries are NOT required for the iBreath iPod Breathalyzer. This terrific gadget comes with a wonderful bonus: it also doubles as an FM transmitter, to transmit your music to an unused spot on the FM dial on your car stereo so you can hear your tunes through speakers instead of wearing earbuds.
