Myron Rolle: This FSU Senior Is On A Roll!
Myron Rolle wants to be a professional football player, and a neurosurgeon, as well as a successful Rhodes Scholar.
Many have said Rolle is over-hyped and over-rated. Even FSU’s defensive coordinator, Mickey Andrews, last year criticized Rolle for, get this, studying too much!
On the day Rolle, a junior safety, was named a Rhodes Scholar he then joined his team after his scholarship interview to play the second half against Maryland.
Gee, Andrews, how do you feel about Rolle, his studies and his football performance now?
In our opinion he not only lives up to the title of “student-athlete” he surpasses it!
Rolle is only one of 32 students to receive the Rhodes award for 2009, and his chances of being a successful professional football player are fantastic, too!
We say have at it, Myron. Do it all! Do it ’till you’re satisfied. We wish this champion Florida State University athlete and leader in academics much success. We believe he will do it all quite well.
