You Think What?

We think the Newsweek cover picture of John McCain’s running mate, Governor Sarah Palin (R-Alaska),  is just perfect.

 

If we had been making the photo selection we would have chosen this one because it shows La Palin to be “just like us.”… age lines, wrinkles and blemishes. No air brushing, no PhotoShop manipulation. Just feisty, * spunk filled Sarah Palin Republican politician up close.

*spunk: As the character Lou Grant of the Mary Tyler Moore Show remarked ,”I hate spunk!”

Sarah Palin has given us a new resolve to despise spunk!

We think it was an interesting choice to zoom in on that left eye. We like it!

How we wish we could hear her speak her mind. How we’d love to be able to hear her say something other than party talking points. Oh but wait…we have heard her speak her mind, using her own words speaking totally unscripted.  It was a disastrous event in “Gotcha journalism”.  Just like her candidacy is a resounding catastrophic event in the history of our nation. The people of America deserve better than McCain and Palin.
