Senator Barack Obama Subject of “Change” Film Documentary
Clark Dark here to report on an upcoming meeting of filmmakers and photographers who support the candidacy and philosophy of Democrat Senator Barack Obama of Illinois.
Organizer Tegy Thomas, of Washington, D.C.  hopes this documentary film will capture events along the Obama Campaign trail. Thomas will include such activities as get out the vote phone banking; Obama social events ; fundraisers and recruitment of volunteers.
Thomas also encourages interested parties to spread this project as a grassroots initiative on a national and global platform while engaging people to become active by shooting footage on their own cameras (video/photography). Other art forms, poetry, dance, spoken word encouraged by participants for use in this documentary film or for possible use in a multimedia installation. Footage would be collected and edited to create a final feature documentary. The deadline to capture all material is 2 weeks after the Presidential Inauguration.
