The following video presents myriad facts about the oceans covering more than 70 percent of our planet.
Without the ocean life on earth would be an impossibility. The ocean makes life on the planet possible.
The oceans are in desperate need of our human help. Most people are unaware of the myriad benefits the ocean provides us, nor how much we are connected and dependent on it. 80 percent of all the life on earth is found in the oceans.
Over the last fifty years we have seen the dramatic decline of the ocean's health due to corporate abuse and misuse of the the oceans. This offensive treatment is causing tremendous havoc with over fishing, pollution, invasive species, habitat destruction, and climate change.
Action must be taken to save the oceans for the life of the six billion plus inhabitants of the earth.
Dead oceans = Dead planet.
