We were very excited, pumped up, and over the moon about the Philadelphia Eagles meeting the Kansas City Chiefs in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, February 12, 2023. It was Super Bowl LVII, Fifty-seven, (57) for those who are deficient in Roman numeral literacy.
Our hopes were dashed and decimated when something happened in the 3rd quarter, followed by a real bad call in the 4th quarter…with the result our team lost!
Have heart. All is not lost…just the NFL’s annual biggest game of the season. Do not despair.
The Philly Iggles have set a kind of a dubious Super Bowl record.
The Birds are only the second Super Bowl team to lead by double digits at the half and lose, joining the 2016 Atlanta Falcons.
Only eight times in 56 years has a team that lost the Super Bowl, returned to play it again the next year.
Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs upon winning the Super Bowl, and the Lombardi Trophy.
