After Fred Thompson, the actor, rightly said, “I’m outta here!” Rudy Guiliani, America’s mayor but apparently not destined to be America’s president, accepted defeat. Perhaps it was the devastating news that all his former wives would only be eligible to vote for him in New York, if they chose to do so.
One thing we can say about Rudy G. he’s a record breaker. Rudy has the distinction of having spent the most money for the least number of delegates in the Republican party.
He’s probably out spent every political candidate since the beginning of time only to win just two, that’s right, two delegates to the Republican convention this summer. Those are two of the most expensive pledges since Zsa Zsa Gabor said yes to all of her husbands! It cost Rudy G. a hefty cool 30 million dollars to get two delegates. Who among us can put a dollar value on the votes of *Bernie Kerik and the current Mrs. (Judith) Guiliani?
Who receives those two very expensive delegates?

*Bernie is a former New York City police commissioner and aide to Hizzonah Rudy Guiliani. Kerik is currently under a 16-count federal indictment for a laundry list of charges including lying to the White House and filing false income tax returns. As if the world is not bizarre enough, Bernie Kerik was President Bush’s choice for chief of our country’s Department of Homeland Security.
