Shawn R. Jones Poet, Finishing Line Press Debut New Book “Womb Rain”

Shawn R. Jones is a promising New Jersey poet who, in conjunction with
Finishing Line Press, a small Kentucky publishing company, will release her first book of poems titled “Womb Rain” on May 9, 2008.

This collection of poems by Jones pays homage to the story of one woman who seeks self-ratification of her own truth and in doing so confirms her validity and self-worth, as she discovers consolation for her spiritual self.
The book has been reviewed in its pre-release by renown authors Charles Lynch and J.T. Barbarese who describe Jones’ first time published poems as both an “auspicious debut” and an “enjoyable, memorable introduction to the work of a serious writer.”
