“I Didn’t Know” Documentary May Save Your Life
Chronic kidney disease is the silent killer of millions of black people across the United States. In Washington, D.C. 18 patients a day lose their lives while waiting for transplants.
According to medical experts there are more people living with kidney disease because dialysis treatment sustains a greater number of lives than ever before.
Ron Minor, founder of Fine Line Productions East, a metropolitan Washington, D.C. production house, has made it his life goal to inform the public about chronic kidney disease through the creation of a fact filled documentary on the subject.
Ron’s interest in the subject is born of the fact a few years ago he, himself, was diagnosed with the condition; fortunately, Ron found the perfect donor in his wife, Kathy Minor. He often describes her as not only his perfect match in matrimony, he says, “She was made for me.”
More details about how to successfully deal with this dread condition can be seen in the documentary, “I Didn’t Know” from Fine Line Productions East coming later this year.
